1. Ivo, you're a senior developer at Navmatix. How long have you been in this role and can you please describe your typical day as a senior developer?
I have been working at Navmatix for almost 2 years now. My role in the team, in general, is to develop cloud-based solutions and prepare our new teammates to quickly get involved in the project. I have been working on the front end (React and TypeScript) since the start of the project last year, and now I am working on the back end (.NET Core, EF, PostgreSQL). I usually start my day's routine in Jira, where I can see what needs to be done and what has priority. Nowadays, with new teammates, I am spending some time helping them with their tasks and trying to share my experience on the project with them. For the rest of the day, I deep dive into development.
2. Which project have you enjoyed the most and which one presented the biggest challenge for you? Feel free to elaborate.
I am enjoying our new project Glopos, where we are facing a lot of challenges, such as how to set up the roles and user permissions for the applications, or how to aggregate big data and present it to the user in our solution with the best performance and great user experience.
3. What do you enjoy most about working at Navmatix?
I would describe it as a familiar approach, and I appreciate collaborating with experienced and professional teammates.
4. What hobbies do you have outside of work at Navmatix? Is there a sport or other activity that you do to relax?
My favorite relaxing activity is spending time in nature with my family, whether it's hiking or exploring new mountain trails in the forest on a bike.
