Junior Frontend Developer
This request is for a Junior Frontend Developer. The individual in this role will:
- Write FE applications in React and TypeScript
- Write reusable components
- Consult with other developers and designers (ex. reviewing pull requests)
You will be part of the team working in sprints based on SCRUM methodology. Every day you can expect a short standup with a description of yesterday’s activities, report potential blockers, and outline your day plans. Each sprint concludes with a retrospective, where we together address the weak points. Within the sprint, you will be part of job refinements and planning of the following sprint.
Requirements
Must-haves:
- Degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science or in similar areas
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the similar roles
- Experience with modern javascript/ typescript including ES6
- Experience with React JS (or with another javascript frameworks) and development tooling (NodeJS, NPM and Git)
- Experience in web technologies like HTML5, CSS3 (knowledge in their preceding equivalents)
- Excellent capacity to work autonomously or integrated in a team
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Develop and maintain the Front-end side of new/current solutions (some Back-End knowledge is also valuable)
- Use the best coding standards and practices, to assure the quality of the code
- We focus on performance, so you should know your browser's Developer Tools for measuring and debugging
Nice to have:
- Experience with an agile development process
- Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of C# and .NET Core, Razor pages, ASP MVC
- Knowledge of CSS precompilers (SASS)
Other requirements:
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- English minimum B1
- Desire to learn new things and technologies
